ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — Officers from the Elizabeth City Police Department arrested Jaylen Nashawn Spivey, 25, on January 23, 2026, following an investigation into suspicious activity linked to drug trafficking.
Spivey faces charges of trafficking and possession involving fentanyl and cocaine. He was taken into custody and is being held without bond at Albemarle District Jail.
Spivey made his first court appearance on January 26. Authorities confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
