AUDRAIN COUNTY, Mo. – Two adults and one juvenile were arrested on Friday, May 16, 2025, following a string of vehicle thefts and break-ins in Audrain and Callaway Counties, authorities said.

The Mexico Public Safety Department (MPSD) received a report around 5:16 a.m. of individuals entering vehicles overnight and stealing property, including an SUV. The thefts reportedly began around 1 a.m. when five suspects broke into vehicles and fled the scene in a stolen SUV.

Law enforcement tracked the suspects to Auxvasse, where the stolen SUV was later abandoned. Officers discovered the group was trying to connect with another group believed to be involved in similar crimes in other jurisdictions.

At 1:58 a.m., a Callaway County deputy noticed a suspicious vehicle on Highway 54 and attempted to stop a white Chevrolet Malibu after it passed the deputy twice at low speed. This led to a high-speed chase reaching 120 mph, spanning multiple counties.

The chase ended in Montgomery County after the Sheriff’s Office deployed spike strips near the 175-mile marker on I-70, successfully disabling the vehicle.

Authorities apprehended three suspects from the St. Louis area:

Jaylen M. Hubbard, 19, of St. Louis, surrendered peacefully with both hands raised from the back seat. He is charged with Second-Degree Tampering with a Motor Vehicle and is held on a $5,000 bond.

Dominique M. Beloch, 19, of Bellflower, initially fled the vehicle but later called 911 to turn himself in. He is charged with Resisting Arrest and two counts of Second-Degree Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, with bond set at $15,000.

A juvenile was also detained, though authorities have not released further details.

MPSD officials confirmed the case remains under active investigation, with more charges possible as evidence is reviewed.
