CARROLL COUNTY, GA – Two men are facing multiple felony charges after allegedly breaking into vehicles and sheds at a residence along Highway 27, according to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).
Deputies arrested Jayden Zellers, 19, of Bowdon, and Jake Daniel Hill, 20, of Carrollton, shortly after the pair left the property on foot.
The victim initially reported to CCSO that two men with a flashlight were walking through his yard. Moments later, the same men approached his door claiming they were searching for a lost vehicle. He provided authorities with a description, and deputies soon located the suspects walking northbound on the southbound side of Highway 27. A second witness had also seen them attempt to jump in front of his car.
Deputies made contact with Hill, who appeared impaired and was found carrying a credit card and driver’s license belonging to someone else. He was brought back to the property, where the victim confirmed his identity.
Meanwhile, the victim discovered several items missing, including tools, an air compressor, sunglasses, and various power tools from outbuildings. Many stolen items were found scattered across the property.
Zellers was later located and allegedly admitted to the break-ins. Deputies also found 2.3 grams of cocaine and eight Xanax bars in his possession.

1 misdemeanor count of criminal trespass
Jake Hill:
2 felony counts of entering auto
2 felony counts of burglary
2 felony counts of identity theft fraud
1 misdemeanor count of criminal trespass
Both men were booked into the Carroll County Jail and later released on $5,500 bond each.
