SEBASTIAN, Fla. — A coordinated law enforcement effort led to the arrest of Jayden Williams, Jaquan Jones, and Trinity Miller, along with two juveniles, following a series of vehicle burglaries in Sebastian early Wednesday morning.

Just after 5 a.m., residents on the 600 block of Bayharbor Terrace were alarmed when a homeowner spotted multiple individuals rifling through their parked car. They quickly alerted authorities.

Deputies from the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Sebastian Police Department responded immediately. They discovered that several vehicles in the area had been broken into, with items such as wallets, credit cards, and personal belongings stolen.

Masks, gloves, and a firearm were also recovered from the suspects. Thanks to the sheriff’s license plate reader technology, law enforcement tracked the suspects’ vehicle, linking it directly to the burglaries.

Five suspects were apprehended—three adults and two juveniles. The adults—Williams, Jones, and Miller—were charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. The juveniles face similar charges, with one also charged with grand theft and possession of a handgun by a minor.

So far, seven vehicle burglaries have been confirmed as part of the incident. However, the investigation remains ongoing, and officials urge anyone with information to call the non-emergency line at 772-589-5233.

The Sebastian Police Department praised the seamless cooperation with the sheriff’s office, saying, “We would like to commend the teamwork and coordination between the Sebastian Police Department and the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.”

Authorities remind residents to lock their vehicles and report any suspicious activity to help prevent further crimes.
