Expelled Jayachandra Reddy was arrested on Thursday in Bengaluru by a special team of Excise Officials for his alleged role in the Mulakalacheruvu illicit liquor scam.
Authorities allege that Reddy provided financial and political support to the prime accused, Adepalle Janardhan Rao, facilitating the illegal liquor network. With his arrest, 32 individuals linked to the scam have been apprehended so far. Investigations are ongoing to identify other participants in the operation.
