Police continued to make significant progress in the godown burglary case as a team from Basistha Police Station conducted raids at Chakumaku and Nakhola Basti in Jagiroad based on specific intelligence inputs.
During the operation, police arrested two seasoned burglars identified as Javed Ali (45) and Abdul Rahman alias Adu (43), both residents of Jagiroad. Authorities also recovered a truck bearing registration number AS02-DC-4737, which was allegedly used to transport stolen goods during the burglary.
With the latest arrests, the total number of accused apprehended in connection with the case has increased to ten. Police said further investigation is underway to recover additional stolen property and identify any remaining associates involved in the crime.
