Jasper Man Sentenced to 22 Years for Drug Trafficking in East Texas

Jeremy O'Quinn Brown Convicted for Distributing Cocaine, Meth, and Marijuana

BEAUMONT, Texas — Jeremy O’Quinn Brown, a 34-year-old man from Jasper, Texas, has been sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana in East Texas. The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Marcia A. Crone after Brown pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Court records reveal that in October 2023, Brown was identified by law enforcement as a major drug trafficker operating in Newton County. A search of Brown’s residence uncovered significant amounts of illegal drugs, including methamphetamine and cocaine, along with $94,997 in cash and two firearms. Brown is believed to have distributed over 497 grams of methamphetamine.

This case was investigated by multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, Texas Department of Public Safety, Jasper Police Department, Newton County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan Lee.
