Jason Neyra Arrested for Vehicle Theft and Drug Crimes

Susquehanna County man faces multiple felony charges

HALLSTEAD, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police arrested Jason Neyra, 47, on Monday following an investigation into stolen vehicles and illegal drugs in Susquehanna County.

Troopers investigated thefts from a residence on Nova Road in Hallstead, discovering a stolen motorcycle from Broome County, which prompted a search warrant. During the search, officers recovered marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, and a shotgun with an obliterated serial number, along with a stolen ATV.

Neyra was charged with multiple offenses, including:

Possession with intent to deliver narcotics

Possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number

Receiving stolen property

Alteration or destruction of a vehicle identification number (VIN)

Possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia

The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to assess the full extent of the crimes.
