Jason McCarthy, 43, was arrested in Nashua, New Hampshire, on Thursday following an investigation into allegations of child abuse, according to local police.
Investigation & Charges
The Nashua Police Department launched an investigation in January after receiving reports of alleged abuse. Authorities determined that McCarthy had assaulted a child close to him on three separate occasions between December and January.
In addition to child abuse and domestic violence charges, McCarthy is also accused of witness tampering and resisting arrest.
Legal Proceedings
McCarthy was taken into custody without bail and is set to appear for arraignment in Nashua on Friday afternoon.
