Jason Kaszupski Arrested for Drug Possession and Theft in Lower Moreland

Police say stolen checks, a credit card, and drug paraphernalia were found in Kaszupski’s backpack

📍 Lower Moreland Man Arrested for Drug Use, Theft After Business Disturbance
HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — The Lower Moreland Police Department has announced the arrest of Jason Kaszupski, 41, following an incident at a business located at Welsh Road and Huntingdon Pike on May 18.

According to the police report, the business owner called authorities after Kaszupski, who had previously been banned from the premises, returned and refused to leave, causing a disturbance and yelling at the complainant.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that Kaszupski had an active warrant from the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office. A search revealed he was in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia, which he admitted to using.

Further inspection of his backpack uncovered stolen property, including checks and a credit card, which were linked to a theft from a residence where he had previously been staying.

(1) Count of §780-113(A)(16): Intentional Possession of Controlled Substance

(1) Count of §780-113(A)(32): Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

(1) Count of §3925(A): Receiving Stolen Property

Kaszupski is currently in custody pending further legal proceedings. Lower Moreland Police say the investigation is ongoing.
