TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas — Jason Casarez, an Abilene man, was arrested on February 18, 2026, following an investigation by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Marshals.
Casarez was taken into custody on multiple outstanding warrants, including charges of online solicitation of a minor, possession of methamphetamine, and theft. He is also accused of a state-jail felony involving fraud with identifying information.
At the time of his arrest, Casarez was booked into the Taylor County Jail, with total bonds set at $128,500. Authorities said the arrest was part of ongoing efforts to apprehend individuals accused of serious crimes in the region.
