Jasmine Kiara Morgan, 35, of Gadsden, Alabama, has been arrested and charged with seven counts of drug trafficking methamphetamine and one count of drug trafficking fentanyl, according to Sheriff Jonathan Horton.
Morgan was taken into custody on October 22, 2025, after the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at her home on Nunnally Avenue. During the search, investigators recovered approximately 2 ounces of fentanyl and over 1 pound of methamphetamine.
Her arrest follows a three-month investigation into ongoing drug activity at the residence. Over the course of the operation, authorities seized more than 3 pounds of methamphetamine and 2 ounces of fentanyl connected to the case.
Morgan is being held at the Etowah County Detention Center on a $400,000 cash bond.
The investigation was a joint effort involving the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit, Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Rainbow City Police Department, Southside Police Department, and the FBI North Alabama Criminal Enterprise Task Force.
