JASPER, Texas — A 24-year-old Jasper man, Jarvis Wilson, was taken into custody Friday evening on several outstanding felony warrants, according to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 6:30 p.m. on August 1, a deputy was patrolling near FM 777 and County Road 164, an area where Wilson was known to reside. The deputy spotted a vehicle approaching and identified the driver as Wilson.
A traffic stop was conducted, and Wilson was positively identified. He was arrested without incident and taken to the Jasper County Jail.
Wilson faces several serious charges, including:
Burglary of a habitation intended other felony (1st-degree felony)
Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (2nd-degree felony)
Terroristic threat of a family member (Class A misdemeanor)
Wilson remains in custody as of the latest reports. Further details on court proceedings were not immediately available.
