ONTARIO COUNTY, NY — A mother and daughter have been charged in a string of high-value retail thefts involving merchandise stolen from Lululemon and Ulta Beauty.
Jaquanda N. Peterkin, 42, and her daughter, Siavaija T. Lewis, 24, were arrested on June 25 on outstanding warrants for grand larceny in the fourth degree. Investigators allege the pair stole $2,045 worth of merchandise from Lululemon on April 1.
Both women also face charges of resisting arrest during the execution of those warrants.
In addition, Siavaija Lewis is charged with two separate counts of grand larceny in the third degree for incidents at Ulta Beauty on April 28 and April 30. She allegedly stole $4,049 worth of fragrances in those cases.
Authorities previously arrested another suspect, Fantasia Speed, in connection with the Lululemon theft. No further charges have been announced at this time.
Peterkin and Lewis were arraigned at the Ontario County Jail and released without bail.
