The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jamnagar Police arrested four men from Punjab and recovered 418 grams of heroin, valued at Rs 83.6 lakh, during a raid near Moti Khavdi village on the Jamnagar–Khambhaliya highway on Friday.
The operation was part of the “No Drugs in Jamnagar” campaign aimed at cracking down on the local narcotics trade. Acting on intelligence, SOG teams raided Room 202 of a hotel in Moti Khavdi, where the suspects were allegedly storing the drugs.
Police also recovered cash, seven mobile phones, and a weighing scale during the search. The accused have been identified as:

Jagdip Singh Khehra
A case was registered at Meghpar (Padana) Police Station under Sections 8(c), 22(c), and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Authorities said the seized heroin was intended for sale in Jamnagar and Devbhumi Dwarka districts. Further investigations are underway to trace the source of the drugs and uncover any links to a larger trafficking network.
