CEDAR BLUFF, Ala. – A stolen Ford Mustang reported out of Colorado was found in Cedar Bluff, leading to the arrest of two local men, according to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver.
Deputies were alerted to the vehicle’s location at 9915 AL Highway 9 North after receiving a tip. Upon arrival, they confirmed the vehicle had been reported stolen.
Authorities arrested:
Jamie Christopher Rochester, 50
Nicholas Joseph Menard, 36
Both men, residents of Cedar Bluff, were charged with receiving stolen property in the first degree.
The stolen vehicle was successfully recovered, and the suspects were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center, Sheriff Shaver confirmed.
