James & Shadrika Jackson Charged in Auburn Retail Theft

Duo arrested for organized theft on East University Drive

AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) – Two people have been arrested in connection with an organized retail theft incident at a business on East University Drive in Auburn.

The suspects, identified as 51-year-old James Jackson III and 45-year-old Shadrika Jackson, were each charged with organized retail theft. Both are currently being held at the Lee County Jail on $10,000 bonds.

According to the Auburn Police Division, officers responded to a report of a theft in progress at a business in the 2900 block of East University Drive on Nov. 9. Police made contact with the pair as they exited the business and took them into custody.

Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the value of the stolen merchandise or the name of the business involved.
