James Psihogios Arrested in Scottsboro for Drug Trafficking

63-year-old Georgia man caught with fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana

Georgia Man Arrested for Drug Charges in Scottsboro

James Psihogios, 63, from Acworth, Georgia, was arrested on Wednesday night after being pulled over by Scottsboro Police.

The arrest occurred just after 10 p.m. on Veterans Drive. Following a search of the vehicle, officers discovered 4.5 grams of fentanyl mixture, 2.3 grams of crack cocaine, 58 individually wrapped marijuana blunts, and a clear glass pipe.

Psihogios was taken into custody and charged with drug trafficking for the fentanyl mixture, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana (2nd degree), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was booked into the Jackson County Jail, where he is being held on a $53,500 bond.
