James Paris Arrested on Human Trafficking and Drug Charges

Daviess County Man Taken Into Custody in Owensboro

A man is in custody after being arrested on felony charges related to attempted human trafficking and procuring the use of a minor by electronic means.

James Paris was wanted by authorities, and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office posted about the suspect on social media Thursday. By Saturday afternoon, Paris was located and arrested near Smothers Park in downtown Owensboro.

In addition to the charges related to human trafficking, Paris is facing several drug charges. He is currently being held at the Daviess County Detention Center.
