RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Authorities have arrested James Longo in connection with a theft at the Nevada Humane Society.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office had requested public assistance on May 14 after an incident at the Humane Society on Longley Lane on April 29.
Thanks to numerous tips received through the Secret Witness program, deputies located and arrested Longo on May 19. He faces charges of petit larceny along with an outstanding failure to appear warrant.
The Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude for the overwhelming community support that helped solve the case.
