
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio – Two suspects are in custody, and a third remains wanted following a shooting near Save A Lot that left a 15-year-old boy injured.
The Cleveland Heights Police Department (CHPD) responded to reports of gunfire near 2227 Noble Road at approximately 4:27 a.m. on July 10. Initial investigations revealed that a physical fight escalated, resulting in the teen being shot in the leg.
Emergency medical services transported the victim to a local hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police have arrested 20-year-old Jamea Marbury of South Euclid, charging him with felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon. 21-year-old Jaylen Coleman of Cleveland Heights was also charged with felonious assault.
The third suspect, 18-year-old Rashaad Goins of Cleveland, has a warrant out for his arrest on a felonious assault charge.
Authorities have yet to determine the motive behind the altercation and shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
