BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Cheektowaga man has been indicted on a second-degree manslaughter charge after allegedly causing the death of his toddler son in October 2024, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.
Jahmil Paisley, 31, is accused of recklessly causing the death of his 21-month-old son, Logan Paisley.
Authorities responded to an apartment on Slate Creek Drive just before 3:30 p.m. on October 18 for a report of an unresponsive child. Logan was transported to Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, where he was later pronounced dead.
Paisley was indicted Tuesday morning and is being held without bail. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
