MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 16-year-old Memphis teen, Jadarius Jermaine Armstrong, has been transferred to adult court to face multiple felony charges, including first-degree murder, according to the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office.
Armstrong was booked into Jail East on Monday and is charged with the following offenses:
First-degree murder
Theft of property
Evading arrest
Unlawful carrying or possession of a weapon
The District Attorney’s Office confirmed his transfer to adult court but said details about the incident remain limited due to ongoing updates in the investigation.
