A Texas man, who was out on an ankle monitor after a previous arrest, is now facing multiple new charges, including homicide, robbery, and vehicle theft, following the death of a 63-year-old woman in Arlington.
Jacob Arriaga-Guerrero was previously arrested in Johnson County last week on charges of aggravated robbery, stealing a vehicle, and other crimes. However, police say he has continued his criminal spree, leading to his rearrest in connection with Monday night’s homicide in Arlington.
Escalating Crime Spree
Authorities allege that over the past week, Arriaga-Guerrero has:
Stolen multiple vehicles
Robbed a person at gunpoint
Hit a pedestrian and their dog with a stolen car
Crashed into another vehicle while fleeing police
The Arlington Police Department is now actively investigating his involvement in the 63-year-old woman’s death.
Back in Custody
Arriaga-Guerrero is currently being held in Tarrant County Jail, where he faces a growing list of charges. Police have not yet released further details about the homicide.
This is a developing story, and authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Arlington Police Department.
