Jackson Hall, Sydney Rowsey Charged in Rockbridge Drugs Case

Child Neglect and Narcotics Found During Search

Two Lexington residents have been charged with drug and child neglect offenses following a search warrant executed by the Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office earlier this month.

On January 10, deputies served a warrant at an apartment complex off Willow Springs Road, where they found a four-year-old child along with 29-year-old Jackson Hall and 28-year-old Sydney Rowsey.

Authorities also recovered marijuana, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and Xanax inside the apartment.

Hall was charged with:

Manufacturing, selling, giving, distributing, or possessing with intent to distribute fentanyl

Manufacturing, selling, giving, distributing, or possessing with intent to distribute methamphetamine

Possession with intent to distribute marijuana

Causing or encouraging acts rendering a child delinquent, abused, or neglected

Rowsey was charged with:

Possession of a Schedule I/II controlled substance (fentanyl)

Possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance (Xanax)

Cruelty and injuries to children

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing to review the circumstances surrounding the child’s welfare.
