JACKSON COUNTY (WQOW) — A Jackson County corrections officer was arrested Sunday morning on multiple domestic-related charges, authorities confirmed.
The suspect, 23-year-old Christopher Loecken, was taken into custody after a woman called 911 to report a domestic incident involving her fiancé. When deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded, they discovered the man involved was one of their own.
To avoid a conflict of interest, the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office was brought in to handle the arrest. Loecken was taken into custody and is facing recommended charges of domestic battery, strangulation, and disorderly conduct.
He is currently being held in the Trempealeau County Jail pending his court appearance. The case remains under investigation.
