BALTIMORE — A 27-year-old Baltimore man has been arrested in connection with a residential burglary in the Mount Washington area, according to city police.
The suspect, Izaak Franklin, was taken into custody on Tuesday in the 400 block of East Preston Street. He was later transported to Central Booking, where he was charged with first-degree burglary and theft.
Franklin’s arrest is tied to a burglary that occurred on August 1 along Pimlico Road.
Police say Franklin may be connected to as many as six burglaries that have taken place over the last two weeks across Baltimore.
Surveillance video obtained by 11 News on August 13 showed an individual driving past homes multiple times before approaching and ringing doorbells. In several cases, the person was seen breaking into windows and doors and stealing valuable items.
The investigation remains ongoing as police work to determine if Franklin is responsible for additional break-ins.
