Israel Arroyo Arrested for Using Stolen Credit Cards to Buy Beverages

Tyler man accused of purchasing over $21,000 in drinks with stolen credit cards

TYLER, TEXAS — A 43-year-old man, identified as Israel Arroyo from Tyler, has been arrested by the Tyler Police Department for allegedly using stolen credit cards to purchase large quantities of beverages. The incident was reported on Wednesday after officers responded to a Wal-Mart located at 3820 Highway 64 West, where Arroyo was allegedly picking up a significant beverage order paid for with stolen credit cards.

According to the Tyler Police Department, Arroyo made multiple online orders across different Wal-Mart locations in Tyler, all using stolen credit card information. On Thursday, investigators recovered over $5,100 worth of stolen beverages from Arroyo’s residence.

Arroyo is reported to have stolen over $21,000 worth of beverages. As a result, he was arrested and charged with credit card abuse. He was booked into the Smith County Jail.
