CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A man was arrested on Easter Sunday following a police chase through a residential area of Clarksburg, according to Harrison County Sheriff Robert Matheny II.
The incident began when a sheriff’s deputy on routine patrol observed suspicious activity near a set of storage units on Simpson Street. The deputy noticed a man wearing both a ski mask and a motorcycle helmet, later identified as Isaiah Hunter Thompson, acting suspiciously in the area.
When approached by the deputy, Thompson fled the scene, leading law enforcement on a pursuit through a residential neighborhood before being apprehended.
