RIO BRAVO, Texas (KGNS) — Two individuals were arrested in connection with a disturbing child abuse case in Rio Bravo, where authorities say a child was harmed using a stun gun.
The Webb County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on April 23 and launched an investigation that revealed the child had allegedly been injured with a stun device.
The suspects, identified as 31-year-old Isabel Garcia and 36-year-old Pedro Santos, were taken into custody shortly after. Garcia faces two counts of injury to a child, while Santos is facing one count of the same charge.
Further details about the child’s condition have not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
