Isaac Spears Arrested After Officer-Involved Shooting in Kentucky

Fleming County Sheriff Fires at Truck Window During Pursuit

FLEMING COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – A man is in custody after an officer-involved shooting in Fleming County following a police chase.

According to the Fleming County Sheriff’s Office, Isaac Spears led Kentucky State Police (KSP) troopers and the county sheriff on a pursuit before his vehicle got stuck in the mud.

Despite being trapped, Spears reportedly attempted to drive away, ignoring multiple commands to stop. In response, the sheriff fired at the truck’s window.

Spears was taken into custody, and Kentucky State Police have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities have not released details about potential charges at this time.
