Isaac Solis Arrested for Fourth-Degree Theft in Sioux Center

Rock Valley man accused of stealing $611 in merchandise from Walmart

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa — A 36-year-old Rock Valley man, Isaac Solis, was arrested on Saturday, May 10, on a Sioux County warrant for fourth-degree theft.

According to the Sioux Center Police Department, the charge stems from an incident on Wednesday, April 2, when Solis was reportedly seen placing multiple items into a shopping cart and leaving the Walmart in Sioux Center without paying around 3:30 p.m.

The total value of the stolen merchandise was $611, placing the offense within the range for fourth-degree theft, which applies to stolen property valued between $301 and $750 under Iowa law.

A warrant for Solis’ arrest was issued on May 6, leading to his apprehension four days later.
