Rajamahendravaram City police have arrested two youths from Kakinada district and recovered 18 two-wheelers in a recent operation, officials confirmed on Wednesday.
The suspects have been identified as Inti Surendra, hailing from Kakinada, and Kamireddi Yesubabu, from Pithapuram. Following their arrest, officers traced and seized a total of 18 motorcycles and scooters from their possession.
Authorities are now probing whether these vehicles are stolen and linked to unsolved theft cases in the region. Further investigations are underway, and the accused are being questioned to uncover any associates or larger criminal networks.
DCP Rajamahendravaram (City) praised the swift action of the police team and urged the public to promptly report any missing vehicles. He also emphasized the importance of verifying registration details and using anti-theft measures.
