MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Ingrid Alcover Sielicki, 30, was arrested on Tuesday for domestic violence while already on probation for a March incident involving the same victim.
During a hearing in front of Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Mindy S. Glazer on Wednesday, the victim described the attacker as “the sweetest thing,” despite the violent incidents. Sielicki, who uses a wheelchair, was accused of punching the victim, violating a previous stay-away order in the process.
According to the arrest report, Alcover Sielicki was facing charges for battery on a person 65 or older as well as a violation of her pre-trial conditions. The prosecution raised concerns about the victim’s safety, urging the court to take swift action.
Judge Glazer set Sielicki’s bond at just $2, while Judge Richard Hersch presided over both cases.
Ingrid Alcover Sielicki’s actions have led to her facing new charges and raised serious questions about her ability to comply with legal conditions, given her ongoing probation.
