Indore Police Arrest Tahir Shah in Rs 70 Lakh MD Drug Seizure

Major drug trafficker nabbed with 76 grams of Mephedrone under Operation Eagle Claw

In a significant bust under ‘Operation Eagle Claw,’ Indore police apprehended a key drug trafficker and seized 76 grams of MD (Mephedrone) drugs estimated to be worth Rs 70 lakh.

The accused, Tahir alias Sandy Bala Shah (28) from Aman Nagar, Musakhedi, has a record of MD drug-related cases across multiple police stations. Police spotted him acting suspiciously near Ralamandal Road in Tejaji Nagar during a routine patrol. When officers approached, Tahir tried to flee but was quickly caught.

Upon search, police recovered 76 grams of MD drugs from his possession. He was arrested under Sections 8/22 of the NDPS Act, and a case was registered at Tejaji Nagar police station. Further investigation is ongoing to uncover details about his drug supply network.

Additional Arrest: In a related development, the Indore Crime Branch also arrested a person involved in the sale and distribution of brown sugar following a confidential tip-off.
