PETERBOROUGH (Cambridgeshire) – Iltaf Hussain, 40, has been jailed for eight months after admitting to stealing goods worth £1,374.83 from a Morrisons Daily store in the Bretton Centre, Peterborough, between January 27 and February 10, 2025. Hussain, who was banned from the centre under a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO), committed the thefts on nine occasions.

Hussain, of no fixed address, also pleaded guilty to breaching the CBO, which had been issued in September 2024, and was ordered to pay £150 in compensation to Morrisons Daily. His criminal activity, which involved targeting the same store repeatedly, caused financial strain and disrupted the staff.

He was arrested on February 10 after police were called to investigate suspicious activity in Dogsthorpe. PC Carly Reed from Cambridgeshire Police noted the significant impact of Hussain’s behaviour on the store and staff, adding that the CBO allowed authorities to arrest him each time he breached the order.
