HOUSTON — In the first six months of the Trump administration, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 356 illegal alien gang members in the Houston area, officials announced.
Collectively, these individuals had illegally entered the U.S. 1,434 times and racked up 1,685 criminal convictions. Among those arrested were convicted murderers, child predators, and repeat offenders—some of whom had entered the country dozens of times.
Notable arrests include:
Milton Magana Fuentes (El Salvador): Child predator, convicted of sexual indecency with a child and illegal reentry, arrested after four illegal entries.
Ronald Rivas-Aguilar (MS-13): Twice illegally entered the U.S., convicted of homicide.
Humberto Romero Avila (Mexico): Entered illegally 10 times, convicted of DWIs and larceny, deported to Mexico where he is wanted for homicide.
Jonathan Valle-Moralez (MS-13): Convicted of firearm possession, transferred for homicide prosecution.
Luis Nava-Garcia (Mexico): Illegally entered 40 times, convicted of reentry offenses.

Convictions spanned a range of serious crimes such as homicide, sexual assault (including of children), domestic violence, burglary, sex trafficking, drug trafficking, and illegal reentry.
One suspect, Juan Pablo Hernandez Ramos, a deported child predator, was convicted of promoting child pornography and sexual assault.
ICE officials emphasized that these arrests demonstrate the agency’s focus on removing the “worst of the worst” to protect public safety and national security.
