WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have arrested multiple criminal illegal aliens across the country, all of whom were convicted of serious sexual crimes against children. The arrests underscore ICE’s ongoing efforts to remove dangerous individuals who pose a threat to vulnerable members of society.
“Criminal illegal aliens who sexually abuse children represent the very worst of humanity,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “Thanks to our brave ICE officers, these predators are off the streets and will no longer pose a threat to American children.”
Among those arrested:
Jose Mario Cervantes-Luna (Mexico) – Convicted of sexual assault of a child under 14 in Harris County, Texas.
Javier Zuniga (Mexico) – Convicted of child rape and indecent assault in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Hector Perez-Urias (Guatemala) – Convicted of lewd acts with a child in San Bernardino, California.
Hermilo Martinez (Mexico) – Convicted of sexual battery in Franklin County, North Carolina.
Gilberto Ramos-Agustine (Guatemala) – Convicted of child endangerment related to sexual abuse in Kent, New York.
ICE reaffirmed its priority to target and remove “the worst of the worst” among criminal illegal aliens, particularly those who commit violent acts against children.
