In a series of coordinated drug raid operations on Saturday (May 31), the Telangana Excise and Prohibition Department’s State Task Force (STF) arrested three individuals across Hyderabad, seizing drugs valued at Rs4.36 lakh.
Among those arrested was Kanishk Kevin, a former IIIT Delhi student who developed a drug addiction and later relocated to Hyderabad. After leaving his studies, Kevin enrolled in a hotel management course and reportedly sourced LSD from Delhi for local distribution. Police apprehended him at DD Nagar in Kacheguda, recovering 113 LSD blots and 16 grams of OG Kush. Three other individuals—M. Deepak Kumar, Mohammed Siraj, and Jethin—are also booked in connection with the case.
In a separate raid, Nerugonda Sai was arrested near a prominent temple in Quthbullapur, where officers seized nine LSD blots from his possession.
The STF continues to intensify efforts against drug trafficking in Hyderabad, aiming to dismantle local narcotics networks.
