Hyderabad Police Arrest Two in Rs1.3 Crore Robbery

Jubilee Hills House Looted of Gold and Diamond Jewellery

Hyderabad: Two individuals were arrested during a joint operation by the Jubilee Hills police and Hyderabad City Task Force in connection with a premeditated house robbery involving gold and diamond jewellery worth approximately Rs1.3 crore.

The arrested accused were identified as Bhupender Shahi alias Bhuvan (22) and Krishna Chand (23). Police said the theft occurred on February 5 at a residence in Nandagiri Hills, Jubilee Hills, where the homeowners and their family members were absent.

According to authorities, the robbery was carried out by a Nepali gang in a meticulously planned operation. The mastermind of the crime, Jiban Chand, is currently absconding, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend him.

Police continue to investigate any possible accomplices and are recovering stolen jewellery while tracking the absconding mastermind.
