The Chandrayangutta police have successfully solved the kidnapping case of Mariyam Saadi, a five-year-old girl from Barkas, and arrested five individuals involved in the crime.

The arrested individuals include Syed Javeed Pasha, Shaista Parveen, Parveen Banu, J Sunitha Kumari, and K Rajendra Prasad. According to police reports, the couple Javeed Pasha and Shaista Parveen targeted children to abduct, and on Sunday, they found Mariyam Saadi playing by the roadside in Barkas. They kidnapped her and later sold her for Rs 1.3 lakh to Parveen Banu, a resident of Uppal.

Based on a complaint filed by the girl’s mother, the Chandrayangutta police launched an investigation, using surveillance cameras to identify the suspects. A police team swiftly intervened and rescued the girl as Parveen Banu was attempting to sell her to a couple, Rajendra Prasad and Sunitha Kumari.

Further investigation revealed that Rajendra Prasad, an agent at a fertility center in Banjara Hills, and Sunitha Kumari, who runs a first-aid clinic in Chilukanagar, were previously involved in child trafficking in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

The police continue to investigate the case, with the arrested suspects being held for further questioning.
