In a significant breakthrough in the investigation of a molestation and murder case involving a 25-year-old woman, Sunnati, the Nuh district police have arrested two individuals. The primary suspect, Inayat, the victim’s husband, was detained after he allegedly confessed to the crime, claiming that his suspicions of his wife’s character led him to commit the brutal act.

Police recovered a country-made pistol, an empty bullet shell, and a mobile phone from his possession. His arrest was followed by a brief encounter, which resulted in the apprehension of the second accused, Shakir, a resident of Tirwada village. During the encounter, Shakir was shot in the leg while Inspector Sandeep Mor sustained an injury to his thumb.
Shakir, who has a criminal history with over 12 registered cases, including robbery, theft, and possession of illegal weapons, was arrested by the CIA Punhana team. A country-made pistol and a bike were seized from him during the operation.
