HOUSTON — A 13-year-old girl was rescued from being forced to work at a massage parlor in Houston after authorities received a tip from a concerned resident. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said deputies from District 5 and the Human Trafficking team disrupted the criminal operation at Rainbow Foot Relax Massage Parlor in Northeast Harris County.

An investigation revealed the teen was being exploited to provide illegal sexual services at the business located at 10511 Jones Road. The teen is now receiving support and care from social services.

The owners of the massage parlor, 76-year-old Shi Shin Chow and his wife, 52-year-old Chenxi Zou, along with the parlor’s manager, 43-year-old Yuqin McGee, were arrested and charged with promotion of prostitution to receive money. All three were booked into Harris County Jail but have since posted bond.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez praised the resident who reported the suspicious activity, emphasizing the importance of community vigilance in combating human trafficking and exploitation.
