ALLIANCE, Ohio (WOIO) – A woman wanted for multiple shoplifting incidents at an Alliance store turned herself in to authorities on Saturday afternoon.
According to a post from the Alliance Police Department, 47-year-old Hollie A. Odell voluntarily surrendered after a warrant was issued for her arrest. The charges stemmed from her involvement in several thefts at the Alliance Meijer store. Police allege that Odell stole over $270 worth of merchandise during three separate incidents on October 24, November 26, and December 24, 2024.
In their initial post on December 29, police revealed that the suspect had fled the scene in a red Hummer after the thefts. Following the warrant for her arrest, Odell reportedly turned herself in to the police.
Odell now faces charges related to retail theft and is expected to appear in court soon. Authorities encourage anyone with further information regarding her actions to come forward as the investigation continues.
The Alliance Police Department has expressed gratitude to the public for assisting with the investigation.
