Hezekiah Glenn Arrested for Uber Driver Stabbing

Springfield man charged in carjacking incident

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Springfield police have arrested 24-year-old Hezekiah Glenn in connection with a stabbing and carjacking incident that occurred last month.

On November 11, officers responded to a report near Durkin Drive and Lawrence Avenue where an Uber driver was attacked while transporting Glenn. The victim suffered injuries from a sharp object, and their vehicle was stolen. Fortunately, the injuries were non-life-threatening.

Following an investigation, police issued an arrest warrant for Glenn on charges of aggravated vehicular hijacking, armed robbery, and aggravated robbery. Glenn was taken into custody on December 9 and booked into the Sangamon County Jail.
