HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two Nashville men have been arrested in connection with a vehicle theft and multiple vehicle burglaries, according to the Hendersonville Police Department (HPD).

On Wednesday evening, around 6:30 p.m., HPD responded to reports of several vehicles being burglarized in the Volunteer Drive area. While investigating the burglaries, officers discovered that a vehicle had been stolen nearby.

HPD tracked the stolen vehicle to the Midtown area of Nashville. The suspects, identified as 19-year-old Cordarious Taylor and 21-year-old Dartazz Beach, attempted to flee in the stolen vehicle. Police initiated a short pursuit, but officers deployed spike strips, disabling the vehicle and bringing the chase to an end.

Both suspects were arrested and are now facing multiple charges, including vehicle burglary and theft of property.

Taylor’s bond has been set at $130,000, while Beach’s bond is set at $180,000. The pair are scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court in February.

This case highlights the ongoing efforts by HPD and law enforcement to address vehicle theft and burglary in the area. Authorities urge the community to report any suspicious activity and continue to be vigilant in preventing such crimes.
