ETNA, Maine (WGME) — Maine State Police have arrested 38-year-old Heidi Tasker, charging her with the murder of her boyfriend, Luke Norris, following a deadly incident at their home on Friday morning.
Authorities responded to a 911 call at 372 Old County Road in Etna around 6:40 a.m. Upon arriving, officers discovered 41-year-old Luke Norris deceased inside the residence.
An autopsy conducted on Saturday revealed that Norris died from “multiple sharp force injuries,” with the cause of death officially deemed a homicide.
After conducting interviews, police arrested Tasker and charged her with murder. Tasker was subsequently taken to a hospital for an evaluation. She is currently being held without bail at the Penobscot County Jail. Her first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Norris’ death is ongoing.
