Hector and Adiel Santiago Arrested in Hartford Raid

Police seize drugs, guns, and ammo on Capen Street

HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) — Two Hartford men were arrested after police discovered drugs and firearms during a search at a Capen Street home on Wednesday.

The suspects were identified as Hector Santiago, 31, and Adiel Santiago, 22, both of Hartford.

According to police, the search took place at 249 Capen Street, where detectives executed a warrant and seized a range of illegal items, including:

A Glock 9mm handgun reported stolen out of Glastonbury

A SCCY 9mm handgun with an obliterated serial number

An extended magazine loaded with 26 live rounds

Numerous boxes of ammunition

26 grams of unpackaged fentanyl — enough to produce roughly 1,040 bags

39 grams of crack cocaine

6 grams of powder cocaine

$340 in cash

Various drug factory materials

Both suspects were taken into custody following the raid. Police said the operation was part of an ongoing investigation targeting illegal firearm possession and narcotics distribution in the area.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the source of the weapons and drugs.
