Hayathnagar Police Arrest Duo for Selling Ganja-Laced Chocolates

Marijuana mixed in chocolates sold illegally in Hyderabad

In a significant crackdown, Hayathnagar police in Hyderabad have arrested two men accused of selling chocolates infused with ganja (marijuana). The suspects, identified as 40-year-old G. Shikhar and 39-year-old Rishi Shankar Mishra, allegedly mixed marijuana into chocolates and distributed them to unsuspecting customers for profit.

Operating within the Hayathnagar locality, the duo targeted buyers through local networks. Acting on credible intelligence, police conducted a raid, seizing the drug-laced chocolates and apprehending the accused.

Authorities have registered a case at Hayathnagar Police Station under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Investigations are ongoing to trace the source of the marijuana and identify other potential accomplices or customers involved in the illegal operation.
