In a sensational bust, the Noida unit of the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) dismantled a fake diplomatic racket operating from a rented bungalow in Ghaziabad, arresting Harsh Vardhan Jain, the man behind the elaborate scam.

The raid was conducted at 10 PM, uncovering fake embassies of micronations like West Artica, Saborga, Poulvia, and Lodonia. These entities are not recognized by any sovereign country or international body. Jain had convinced multiple people that he was a consul or ambassador for these so-called nations.

According to ADG Amitabh Yash, Jain’s racket was built on elaborate fraud:

Fake diplomatic number plates on luxury vehicles

Edited images with PM Modi and top officials

12 forged passports, 18 fake diplomatic plates, and Rs 44.7 lakh in cash

Two fake PAN cards, 34 rubber stamps, and fake Ministry of External Affairs seals

The STF also found that Jain had links to hawala operations and illegal fund transfers via shell companies. By posing as a diplomat, he lured unsuspecting individuals with promises of overseas jobs.

He even falsely presented connections to notorious figures like Chandraswami, a controversial spiritual guru, and Adnan Khashoggi, the late international arms dealer.

Jain’s past includes a 2011 FIR for possessing an illegal satellite phone. A fresh FIR has been filed at Kavi Nagar police station, and investigations are ongoing.
